Pesticide Exposure and Hypospadias Birth Defects in Vegetarians
What role do vegetarian diets and organic foods play in the prevention or promotion of a birth defect called hypospadias?
This video was scripted and narrated by our Senior Research Scientist, Dr. Kristine Dennis.

I was awaiting her for the Barberries video that you commented on at a previous seminar!!!!
It’s not necessarily that Kristine’s voice isn’t clear, I think it’s that her microphone or audio processing needs some work. The beginnings (and at times, middles) of some words are being cut off, there appears to be some digital artefacting happening and the clarity of the recording isn’t there yet. Her style is less excitable than Dr. Greger’s, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but the audio processing needs to be adjusted to suit her vocal style to lift it up and keep it as clear as possible.
Yeah lowkey we need to see her voice in new microphone before tbe next judgement, i can still understand the video clear though, her way of talking is easy to follow
Sound perhaps like improperly setup noise gating.
Well done.
Great video 🙂. I also heard something about a connection between pesticides and Parkinson desease. I would love a video about that!
Can we PUT IT TO THE TEST if sodium bicarbonate water soaking really eliminates a significant part of pesticides ?
I just a two pounds of strawberries and soaked them first.
I think the new narrator is fine but doesn’t hold a candle to Dr. G. Come back!
When the blood of participants is examined specifically for conventional pesticide residue, of course their levels drop as the consumption of organic pesticides increases. Toxins derived from nature are potentially as potent.
Thanks for your persistency re health. Not a problem to hear or not to hear as I prefer to read your research.❤
Have fun with it: Remember that reading out loud is a performance! Try to have fun with it and enjoy the process of bringing the text to life.
I’m getting it from my food… and my towns surface water source. This world is unlivable
Hi. You doing a great job providing us with information Kristine. I know people can be aversed to change but they will see you guys are doing important work
Thank you!
This was a cool experiment. I miss Dr. Greger’s emphasis and energized vocal explanations though. I would prefer an AI experiment with pro voice duplication over another person, perhaps that would meet the need for delegation while preserving Greger’s unique style?
As far as narration goes, Dr. Dennis did a fine job, from the perspective of clarity and accuracy. But the problem is, Ai can easily do that these days. To stand out, it would be nice to feel some personality coming through. Some sort of idiosyncrasies. Greger has his style. She shouldn’t feel compelled to copy him per se. Rather, something unique (but genuine) that engages the listener. Otherwise, 11 labs could easily achieve this.
As for the topic of this video, that’s why we need to grow whatever food that we can. Buy organic, when possible. Then supplement with home grown (pesticide free) produce. You don’t need much land. I grew over 600 lbs last year on 1/17th of an acre. Whatever you do, don’t fall for this anti-organic culture that tries to act like organic is a joke, some sort of gimmick. From a pesticide exposure perspective, IT’S NOT!
I’m glad for any info from Nutrition Facts, but the narration is kind of monotone and flat and has a ‘race to the finish’ sense to it. Reminds me of a school report from a kid who doesn’t look up and just wants it to end. Maybe I’m too used to Dr. G’s roller coaster of enthusiasm. Dr. G. sounds like he’s talking to people, not a microphone. Still, a good start. Wish her well and if it frees him up and lets him get some rest it’s fine. I wouldn’t want him to give it up completely. He still needs to be the face and voice of the organization.
Sounds like a great communicator! Looking forward to more videos from her
Dr. Dennis, thank you for your dedication to helping the world heal!!
Great job Dr Kristine! 👏👏👏☺️
Great job Dr. Dennis!!!
Good job doctor Dennis and good luck! 🙂
One note, I think that getting narrator on camera at the beginning of the video is a smart move going forward, to give the videos more trustworthy look and distuguish it from AI generated trash plagueing the internet.
