Reasons I Regret My Breast Augmentation #none @barrettplasticsurgery

Literally none. After losing 45 pounds + dealing with a muscular tear, had my first breast augmentation in 2012. Almost 12 years later, after having my baby, I did the recommended replacement and revision with a little lift and I am so happy I did. Surgery isn't something I take lightly. It's 100% a personal decision and the MOST important thing is finding a surgeon you trust, who listens to your concerns and is aligned with what you're looking for. I went to @barrettplasticsurgery and he is truly the best! I've been so happy with the whole experience and feel like they did everything possible to make it easy and for me to feel really good from start to finish. They also take a super holistic approach to the entire process which, if you need or choose to have surgery, is definitely important!

I heard a lot of regret comes from years of always being sick because the immune system somehow takes a hit. Maybe this is just some people šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

Yea itā€™s really just some people. Iā€™ve had hypothyroidism since i was 11 and have been the healthiest in my life the last 10 years even with implants. It is less than 1% that experience symptoms that may be related. Basically if you have unexplainable symptoms and have implants they say itā€™s probably related but thereā€™s not a true diagnosis for breast implant illness yet.ā¤

If someone is flat chested I can see why they would want something there. The thing I find undesirable about them (other than making some people sick) is how they set up so high on the breast bones, and donā€™t look natural. You can clearly see the outline of them under the skin. With clothes covering that area you canā€™t tell they are fake. To each their own. I tell people Iā€™m lazy and donā€™t like high maintenance things done on my body. I wouldnā€™t like the fact that I would have to continue to do upkeep on them till I died. You look great and if you love them then thatā€™s all that matters.

Totally – personal preference and for sure case by case. For me, I had large breasts before my weight loss so it was really about feeling like myself again. The ā€œmaking people sickā€ is really a case by case. Yea itā€™s really just some people. Iā€™ve had hypothyroidism since i was 11 and have been the healthiest in my life the last 10 years even with implants. It is less than 1% that experience symptoms that may be related. @@LoveSweatFitness yesā€¦. Everyone has their own reasons and if it works for them, then it doesnā€™t matter what anyone else thinks. Again, you look great and have every right to be proud of your health accomplishments. Keep being an inspiration to all of us. Again, Iā€™m lazyā€¦but if I ever felt the need to do it then I wouldnā€™t care what others thought.

You have every right on this planet to be the happiest version of yourself that you can be as long as it harms no one else, that includes cosmetic surgery. šŸ˜Š

I absolutely totally regret my decision to get them and honestly cannot wait for the day I can get them removed & just get a lift.
