The suppression of NAD+ synthesis by NR in humans may explain the disparate rodent results.

How do you decide what extras to include in your video description? 💚🍓

  • @RIForg says:

    FIRST!!! 💜💜💜

  • @IvonneWesleyey says:

This is the quality! Watching in one breath, thank you! 😛💕

  • @allencrider says:

    Miracle supplements to fight ageing . . . 😏

  • @sugarplumk2381 says:

I don’t even know what it is and why humans would need it. I guess I don’t need to know anyway. Is there anyone who needs it and what for?

    • @danielalindan9642 says:

It was supposed to make us live 20 years longer according to David Sinclair and others. I took it myself but stopped because it ruined sleep.

    • @sugarplumk2381 says:

@ Oh that’s interesting. Thanks for your answer. Sleep is so important so I hope yours got better after you stopped.

  • @AndrewPawley11 says:

    I love this channel!

  • @alfonso365 says:

As I’ve said before… don’t listen to David Sinclair.

  • @danielalindan9642 says:

Great news for mice! Thumbs up if you’re a mouse taking NR!

  • @troychristensen8016 says:

Pterostilbene was EXPECTED theoretically to kill 1 in 40. IE surmised. It didn’t happen

  • @samiryan214 says:

    TLDR?

    • @guyfawkes5012 says:

NR is probably safer than NA/NAM, but due to the lack of any positive effects, not recommended

  • @sebbov7626 says:

Really hoping NMN to be tackled next! I’m sceptical towards these supplements myself and working as a neurobiologist, so I have a good grasp of the topic. I have been taking NMN (never NR!) for the past 2-3 years (27 now) and it does feel like I have discovered a partial fountain of youth. My physical health and recovery from muscle soreness etc is incredible with it, far beyond placebo! There is too much anecdotal evidence out there for it to be reasonable to assume it would only work in mice. Looking forward to the hopefully following episode on NMN!
