👍👍 I’ve been doing 6/18 for about 8 years and have had great results. Sustained weight loss was just the beginning. It lowered my blood pressure and cholesterol (both had gotten too high, borderline for medication even though I had been exercising regularly). All biomarkers are normal. But I think the greatest advantages to IF are yet to be quantified. Assuming that you can reach a state of autophagy after fasting for, say 10 or 12 hours, then being in that state on a daily basis may have significant disease prevention benefits and also increase longevity. Autophagy was just recently discovered (2016) so we’ll need more studies to know for certain what the benefits are.
20/4 is the optimal one. Best eating phase is between 10am to 2pm

Intermittent fasting is not just about weight loss. I am terribly sorry that for most people this is the issue.
For me its not. I can eat anything I want and my weight is always fine.
Weight loss, weight loss, weight loss. Honestly sick of hearing it. Intermittent fasting lets your guts rest and repair, allows hormones to invert.
