    How can a woman who eats a plant based diet not have more iron deficiency than a woman who regularly eats meat?

      @@Higgins8 Because many plants have a high level of bio-available iron, especially soy and cruciferous vegetables, which make up a lot of vegetarian diets.
      Bread flours are also usually enriched with iron.
