One rule at my house and in general: Keep your hands to yourself *AND* Don’t touch my stuff without explicit permission. I’m financially struggling and if you started throwing away my food or drinks of you your own accord, expect my first rule of keeping your hands to yourself to be retracted. You will go flying out the window and I’ll end up possibly catching a felony case.
In the U.S. military there’s an inside joke that’s akin to, “Don’t touch our boats.” That also applies to a person’s home – “Don’t touch my Cokes.”
Maybe it’s because I was raised by a military dad who was raised by a military dad who was raised by a very very poor farmer but I feel a twinge of guilt eating/using anything at other peoples homes even when they offer it. It almost feels like stealing lol I don’t mind people eating in my home but with respect. Like when my SIL stayed with us for 2 months, she’d make popcorn and then take full bottles of seasoning down to the basement to use on it like why can’t you season it in the kitchen… And then I bought a bag of pretzels and before I even had any she’d taken the whole bag to the basement and never brought it back and just ended up finishing it. My husband and I are quite financially stable but I still find it fundamentally rude. Especially because I always asked her directly if she wanted anything specific from the store and she always said no, but then she’d disappear entire bags of snacks or ice cream randomly lol Plus I meal plan so it’s annoying to have an ingredient go missing.

I also grew up in a military family. 🫡
My family didn’t have much, but it was also customary to ask if anyone needed something when going to the store. I don’t know if I could have dealt with a person like you did for very long. Admittedly, there were times where I was in need of something, but went without as that’s how I grew up.
You just kind of sucked it up. Not the healthiest mentality to have, but better than being a thief or taking advantage of a person and sucking them dry. This seems to be what happened in your situation or maybe she didn’t understand boundaries. Yeah, she seems off. 😅
That’s streight up stealing.😮
Nope, this would earn someone immediate expulsion from the premisses and my life with extreme prejudice. This is beyond rude even though I perhaps believe this is a sketch but there are people who do this and its not ok.
The amount of entitlement and self-righteousness this soda goblin has in this short is breathtaking …the fact she actually posted this herself is mind blowing 😂🤦
I do this too but instead of dumping it into the sink I dump it into my belly.
So true. If they have sprite or Dr pepper, no they don’t. It’s mine now
There are people who think that they know what others need. And they are totally convinced that they know it better than the person themselves. It’s shocking. Untill you meet them and see how serious they are, you wouldn’t believe it. And they are among us. They are considered respectable people who get protected as well. Sometimes you don’t know that you have one in your direct environment, untill you find yourself feeling vulnerable and at that moment they decide to run over you completely. But there’s always some brain twisting justification and a pikachu face, so don’t think that you will just be able to explain that they are wrong.
100% Rage Bait engagement
Note taken: I will NOT invite you over
This is 1000000% rage bait. There is no other reason to do it.
If you call it pop, im not inviting you over.
Hahah yes, SO EMBARRASSING! Yikes. I don’t even keep soda at home usually, but this person would not be my friend.
I would never talk to that lady again and warn everyone she ever talks too
She sounds like she’s fun at parties
Has she @abbeyskitchen talked about aspartame yet?? I’ve been so curious to deep dive and want to know abbeys thoughts!
