Oh boy, that was quick!! 😅
Abbey, you should review TheCynicalDude. People have come out saying he’s given them an eating disorder. He reviews what-I-eat-in-a-day videos and rates them. He uses a lot of bad language, even calling Diet Coke “battery acid”. It hurts to see people beat themselves up in his comment section, saying they’re gonna go to hell because they had some ramen. It’s a big problem!
oh my god, please stop. he’s being facetious most of the time 🤦♀️
@@jilletdelphineno there’s some truth to this. For example he’ll knock points off if the person ate a little candy, even if they otherwise ate healthily all day. He definitely advocates for an all or nothing approach to dieting, rather than healthy balance. Honestly I too had to stop watching him because of this.
This is a repost from 2 months ago no ? Love your content anyway !

Abbey, I saw a YT short from another RD. She said eating dinner/carbs at night just turns into fat because we’re less active and/or sleeping overnight, whereas eating with breakfast/lunch, the carbs at burned off throughout the day as one carries on. She said she’s 100% for carbs just during the day at B&L, not dinner to stay a healthy weight. Any truth to this?? Thanks for all you do!!
what i’ve learned documenting a lot on food etc. in the past two years, is that it’s totally okay to eat carbs at dinner as long it fits your daily calorie needs! i’ve been eating carbs for dinner such as brown rice (along with veggies and protein obviously) for almost a year now and it didn’t influence my weight at all. it also contributed to raise my fiber intake, as i always choose whole grains. i’ve been to three dieticians due to my ed, and each of them told me a well balanced meal consists of vegetables, protein and carbs!
@vviittoria Thank you for your take on things. As a person who has researched nutrition knowledge for my own personal use for the last 20 years, I agree with you. This is what I have found in my personal experience, but since that RD I saw is an RD and I am not thought it’d be interesting to get another RD’s take on it. TBH, the RD whose short I watched (not Abbey), I sometimes find gives me disordered eating vibes, but they do have good recipes/snack ideas too so I’ll still watch the odd short when it pops up.
