SO excited for this vid! I’m going to be hanging out in the comments, answering your questions about my routine, nutrition, how I lost my weight & keep it off…comment below 🙂

  • Elisa says:

I love this so much!! I am definitely going to try intermittent fasting. I started the HBMP on day 1 of the Summer Shape Up and am still going strong. Hopefully fasting will give me a weight loss boost. Thanks so much for taking time to do this. Love, Elisa

Love it. I have hypothyroidism also and started my health journey a year and half ago and so glad I found you! So motivating and inspiring! Thanks for sharing so much

You’re motivating to watch! It’s nice to see when someone has a healthy LIFESTYLE that way we can imitate something that’s doable and relatable!

I like how you meal prepped certain foods like the oatmeal and chicken so it makes it easier to make meals throughout the week. Thanks for the tips!

  • Danielle Schroeder says:

I’ve been doing Intermittent Fasting too for about a month or so. I absolutely love it. Sometimes I do get hungry before my ‘eating window’ starts but like you said Katie, I try to listen to my body. Thanks for the tips, definitely going to be trying the zoodles and turkey recipe this weekend 🙂 <3

    • Ritza Francois says:

I actually found doing intermittent fasting just 2-3 times a week to be really affective. There isn’t as much pressure and its easier to fix issues of over and under eating. Plus it lives room for listening to your body. Some days we r hungrier and some days we are not.

I too have only being doing interminnent fasting for just on a week now. How long before you see some changes? I’m 62.
Trying to also do at least a 30 minute walk in the morning as well. Have hip problem so slowly doing some exercise.
      Feeling heaps better.

So simple and yet inspirational. Thanks for your tips.

I love this video! Thank you for posting! For the past year I have made the change towards a healthier and more active lifestyle. I have been working out with LSF for a while now (also did the summer shape up) and I am definitely seeing a difference in my strength, mobility, and physique. My diet is very similar to this video. I try to get healthy carbs from oats, quinoa, sprouted grain bread, etc. and also eat lots of protein, fruit, salads, and I do eat veggies, but prob could still do better in that area. As of right now I don’t have the HBMP or the guiltless nutrition guide, and I was wondering if you could possibly make a video with some easy healthy fall recipes (particularly dinner, and healthy snacks)? As a busy college girl, I am trying to find more ideas of healthy recipes that are easy to meal prep in my busy schedule 🙂

  • Ren.White says:

SO TRUE about eating more. I have been trying to lose about 20lbs and initially cut my calories down to 1200 because a food tracking app told me that what I should do, I lost 8lbs really fast and then NOTHING for 2 months. I upped my calories to 1500-1700 during the week and 2000 calories on the weekend and initially gained 2-3lbs the first couple weeks, but then started steadily losing about a pound a week for the last month or so. Most importantly I FEEL so much better, which is what should always be the main focus anyways.

    • 1 w says:

Unless it’s keto, that doesn’t make sense. The more calories you eat, the more weight you lose? That would defy science.

    • Kat Jean says:

@1 w Yes, if you’re eating the right amount of protein, carbs and fats for your age and activity level… also depending on the workouts u are doing, sometimes a little more calories will help you lose weight as long as you are hitting your macros correctly and feeding your body at a cellular level.

    • Alisha Poland says:

@1 w to an extent yes, when you constantly try to live in a calorie deficit your body goes into starvation mode and will actually store everything as fat in order to sustain itself.

  • ElleE says:

Love this – so easy and doable! Thank you for making your tips and tricks relatable.

  • shreyathomas says:

I also have hypothyroidism, and I feel like I learned so much more about my own disorder in this video alone than any other information video, wow. Thank you.

    • Kitty says:

I agree I’ve had it since elementary school and I learned more from this video than any doctor. The response I always got was “You’ll always just be overweight”.

  • Jacqueline D. says:

Your approach is great! It’s healthy and practical, not depriving, not extreme. Just healthy and common sense. Love it!

  • Leah Maloy says:

I have been looking for someone to follow with hypothyroidism!! Thanks for sharing your journey!! I started my post pregnancy weight loss and was getting discouraged thinking my hypothyroidism was hindering me! Thank you for showing that it is possible! I just subscribed and I’m so excited!!

  • Victoria Killalea says:

Your videos and healthy choices really helped me. I feel like I keep going on my work out and eating healthy. I’ve been doing this work out for about two months I felt like I was struggling to lose weight but once I watched your work out videos. It helped me to keep going and be more confident about myself. I was 160 pounds and now I am 150 pounds. My goal is to try to get to 120 pounds where I used to be before I was pregnant. All these tips really helped me. Thank you for these tips!! I will keep watching them more. 🙂

  • Lourdes A says:

I love the zoodle recipe!! I can absolutely see myself making these as I love making ground turkey bowls!! I don’t have a microwave though because of all the radiation, so I might just quickly warm up the zoodles in a pan to make them al dente 🙂

  • K W says:

Wow! I never knew that healthy meals could look so good 😋 this video is so motivating!

  • Yade Barbera says:

Hi Katie!!! I recently started watching your videos because a friend recommended it, and I love them. I suffer of hypothyroidism due to hashimoto and I am currently feeling exactly as you described on your video to get to know about your story. I have to say that your videos are very motivating and now I have the will to use the strength I know I have to reach my goal.

Many blessings to you for inspiring us.

P.S what was the name of the oil you add to your morning coffee?
