I’m so glad that I watched this video today. I’ve been low carb for almost a year and Ive hit a weight loss plateau. I definitely need to start bringing back some healthy carbs and more fiber into my diet. My digestion hasn’t been the best because I’ve been cutting things out and replacing them with processed foods.

I just recently found out that depression is also tied to your gut and liver health! As someone who struggles with depression this brought me a lot of hope that I could do stuff physically to help heal along with things like therapy 🤍 Hope this brings hope to some of you as well ☀️ life gets better and you won’t always feel this way! You got it!

yeah it very important organ – I started a access to nursing course and learning about the human body and different systems and organs and the role they play in keeping our bodies in balance is amazing awesome and incredible. when learning about the digestive system you become much more aware of what you eat and drink especially fizzy juices and foods with excessive sugar and processed foods

    • @sophiebellerose4125 says:

What you are saying is true! I suffered from severe depression for 17 years and intense mood swing and then I learned something that changed my life: that sugar destroy our protection wall in the gut and the fibre do the opposite. So if you eat too much sugar and few fibres ( Like I was doing),it leads to leaky gut ( the junk in the gut leaks in the bloodstream which causes inflamation).
And this kind of inflamation can cause depression, bipolar symptomes ect.
Since I cut out sugar from my diet and added fibres( mostly from vegetables), I feel so much better in my head: it’s day and night!! 😀
