I also use NAC with Glycine anytime I drink, rarely, or go on a food binge at a restaurant having too many carbs. I take an extra dosage of NAC & Glycine and 500mg of vitamin C to help mitigate negative effects.

I suspect that alcohol consumption’s effects on the gut microbiome will have subtle negative effects we dont pay attention to. Hard to say without further research, but i barely drink because i dont want to consistently kill a large portion of my gut biome
