Can women with PCOS use raw milk?

  • @monkey_doodle4035 says:

The history of how the dairy industry got commercialized is interesting. Also how there’s 100s of tons of cheese in caves in the US.

I’ve made yogurt with raw milk and it turns out great.

Great information! How long does raw milk last?

  • @ashleyjackson7370 says:

My raw milk comes from my cow in my yard! 😁

  • @guylainelamoureux says:

Please tell us when you make yogourt with raw milk and how it turns out. 👍❤️🇨🇦

I was a dairy goat farmer for over a decade and I sold raw goat milk. I always welcomed customers to come and see our milking and storage process. Plus the State has dairy farmers test for harmful bacteria, etc. If you are buying direct from a farm. Ask. to. see. All of it. The process and the paperwork!

  • @jasonmunson382 says:

Make sure to shake it. I grew up a Dairy Farmer and went to college for Dairy Farm Management and grew up on raw milk from the bulk tank. I loved it and keep missing a farm that has it available locally. They always sell out. Great video, Autumn!

Raw milk is banned in Australia, but we have a company here that Cold presses the milk to kill bacteria but it maintains most of the nutrients in the milk.

  • @MarianJavorcik says:

You can have the best source of raw milk and yet can you get tick encephalitis . I know one case with multiple people ended in life threatening state.

  • @liz42. says:

My family has grass fed miniature cattle (mostly Jersey/Zebu cross) and we produce most of our own dairy products with our raw milk. Depending what I’m making, I pastuerize milk for certain things. I use an heirloom Bulgarian yogurt culture, and I pastuerize my milk for that because I don’t keep a separate mother culture yogurt. For my aged cultured cheeses, butter, kefir, or fresh drinking, I leave the milk raw. For fresh acid cheeses that I don’t want them to continue culturing, I pastuerize the milk. It all depends on what I’m doing with the milk.

  • @aldntn says:

In high school, I twice spent several days in hospital with strep. The milk was produced on our own farm (grade B). We then bought a pasteurizer.

  • @messengeroftruth17 says:

I’ve made yogurt with raw milk. It comes out beautiful and fresh.

  • @toastrecon says:

About the pasteurization and the loss of the “good bacteria” – I’m guessing that making yogurt out of it reintroduces that bacteria back in?

  • @user-xi3vl7ci6f says:

I wish i could get raw milk here in Virginia without having to buy a super expensive cow share 😔. I think raw milk should be legal in all states
