Great review of all the coconut byproducts

  • @sister4566 says:

Hi Autumn! I read somewhere that if someone has borderline elevated cholesterol levels they should not consume coconut milk, meat, butter oil, cream, or flakes because of the saturated fat content.

    • @thedupontnest says:

Others can chime in, but the short version is that our bodies NEED cholesterol! Especially our brains. What’s cause for concern is when your HDL and LDL ratios are farther apart.

    • @sister4566 says:

@@thedupontnest thanks for the clarification. I appreciate it!

    • @KristenMartinez says:

To add to the comments above, if you aren’t getting cholesterol from your diet, your body makes it. It’s definitely a necessity for hormones and overall health.

  • @ervinsmoviecorner8748 says:

    Good for you, Autumn!❤

  • @guylainelamoureux says:

Amazing how many variations coconut produces. Thank you Autumn.

  • @sarahh4457 says:

Love the info! Thanks, Autumn! I’ve been unclear about the differences for a while, so it’s great to hear them all explained at once!

  • @briannehill7583 says:

I absolutely love coconut butter in my yogurt and smoothies. But every loval store has been out for months. My favorite store stopped stocking all together😢

  • @peggyconway2900 says:

    Terrific information. Thank you 😊

  • @bateschiro says:

    Great information!
Now I can be much more intentional when using coconut products.

  • @melimels22 says:

What do you replace sugar with? It seems ALL sugar is bad even the ones that others claim are better and an alternative, very contradicting whats out there.

  • @jgoldfarb3 says:

Thanks so much, I’ve not thought about Coconut 🥥 I’m still on Almond
Milk. My husband’s recommended LMNT & we both like it 👍👍

  • @Rigbycat123 says:

Makes me smile to myself when you mention charcoal. Yes it can be essential in the case of poisoning. To think when my Mum started back as a nurse. Charcoal was readily given for the prevention of flatulence and heartburn. Until it was discovered to be quite carcinogenic.
Not sure I’d be guzzling it as a rule 👍

  • @cmoxie says:

    Super helpful Autumn. Thank you!

  • @ocean8866sea says:

Can you please recommend a mct oil brand?

  • @f.k.5548 says:

The best use for coconut milk from a can, coconut cream or oil is for cooking. It´s one of the main ingredients in a lot of asian dishes. Paired with vegetables, tofu and a ton of spices it´s pretty healthy and way more satisfying than a smoothie.

  • @sarahstocks3088 says:

So if I would like to use only coconut flour in my mug cake what could II add to moisten it up a bit? Sour cream? Fruit puree?
