Green Tea as a Mouthwash for Halitosis (Bad Breath)
Green tea can help reduce plaque as much as the gold-standard chemical mouthwash without the side effects, but what about other aspects of oral health, such as bad breath?

Caffeine is not ideal. If you want to get your best quality sleep going to bed early, will give you a deeper sleep focus on more carbohydrates and less dietary fat for energy rather than stimulants , Carbs FTW!! 💪💪💪
With cold infusion brewing you can many benefits of green tea without as much caffeine. Consumed only before noon, it shouldn’t interfere with sleep quality.

Also, caffeine consumption in coffee and tea is causally related to encreaed life expectancy.
So… just stop drinking it early in the day.
@@BoogieBoogsForever well, I assume potatoes for one as they are super rich in potassium and potassium contributes to better sleep.
In Shizuoka prefecture, the tea capital here in Japan, children rinse their mouth and gargle with green tea that is available via a faucet at schools.
Green tea undoubtedly has positive oral hygiene applications as well as the astonishingly healthful benefits from typical consumption methods.

No. Technically, it’s not longer water.
If we assume that taking a drink of tea is a swish, then you would be rinsing out the mouth 70% repeatedly throughout the day. So for doing it like 10 times it would be 100% times 0.3^n or you would exceed 99% clean easily, around four or five drinks,
During WWII, my Okinawan mother as a child used green tea to gargle & brushed her teeth to prevent disease.

What kind of green tea should be used? Is the cheap green tea in tea bags enough? Has cold brewed green tea the same effect?
Good questions… the expensive stuff certainly TASTES more potent, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it works better for oral hygiene. But my guess is that it would.
Don’t know how strong they are as far as helping, but Trader Joe’s has a green tea lozenge.
Is decaffinated green tea as beneficial as caffinated in regards to all tea drinking benefits of green tea with caffine?
The anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties of green tea also make it an effective acne treatment

I think green tea MOUTHWASH is telling. Is that the same as just plain green tea? If not, what’s the difference
