Hey Abby, just curious what is the real diagnosis behind leaky gut?

  • @mb-gu7xs says:

    That mug ๐Ÿ˜…

  • @tallulahraccoon3832 says:

Thank you regarding the “leaky gut” thing!

One of my favorite vegan YTers recently claimed that she has exactly that and that it was diagnosed by a real doctor and I unsubbed immediately bc real doctors would never diagnose such pseudo-disease!

    Much love โค

Oh I think I follow her too! Hope she gets better soon though

    • @martinadelvai4115 says:

My boyfriend’s doctor “diagnosed” him with leaky gut. And something else with histamin something via stool sample. And of course wrote a prescription for some expensive bs products that don’t reqire one so he could cash in on that. I blew up as soon as I heard all that. Needless to say we didn’t buy any of that bs. This happened in Germany. He now moved to Italy so we could move in together and we are happy with our doctor situation here.

  • @Emily-jj4si says:

The only time drinking water helped my hunger was when I was on high doses of corticosteroids, and my body had NO satiety cues. But it was still just a temporary reprieve.

    THANKS! ๐Ÿ‘Much appreciated โคโคโค

  • @jazzk4072 says:

I eat mince, chicken, beef, pork, goat, venison, fish, prawns, butter and eggs. I have lost 12 kg since last June; lost migraines; bloating, gas; depression and joint pain. I have gained mind clarity, stamina, (have to exercise more ๐Ÿ˜Š) my blood sugar is consistently at around 4.4 or less. I donโ€™t worry too much if I have a bit of toast or maple syrup. My body can handle the treats now that itโ€™s not inundated with carbs. I didnโ€™t just jump into carnivore, I did keto for about two years. Worked a bit but wasnโ€™t hungry and didnโ€™t eat enough to sustain my health. Also very gassy, bloated and had stomach upsets. Found Dr Berry, Dr Fung and Dr Pelz. Went on carnivore elimination diet for a few months, found that I canโ€™t have too many egg whites; no sweet chilli sauce; and no sausage casing! ๐Ÿ˜‚ You havenโ€™t seen anything so funny as someone carefully doing surgery on a sausage to remove the casing.

  • @jessicatredway3760 says:

Well considering I legitimately got into arguments with people both in real life and on the internet about blood sugar. Specifically, whether or not a blood sugar of 170 after a meal, is cause to cut something out of your diet completely because it “spikes” your blood sugar. They called it a “spike”. But I feel like leaky gut is some influencers entire personality, so.
