  • @yaphoenix23 says:

Hmm, maybe those three items should be on my next grocery list. Trying to restock the fridge after flying home from a work trip πŸ˜…

  • @Takemetokirch says:

I’d bring beans for fibre and protein, avocado for fats and because i really like it and tomatoes because they’re my favourite!!

    • @TheEnthusiasticHobo says:

I thought quinoa for protein and fibre, avocado for fats, and watermelon because it’s flavourful but also hydrating!! And if I’m on a deserted island I can hopefully fish for my b12.

  • @Ejcfarley says:

Sweet potato was my first thought

  • @chris5942 says:

2 pregnant cows and one bull who wasn’t the sire of the ones in the two pregnant cows. Meat and Milk.

  • @jeanniesjournal says:

Peanut butter, chocolate and … peanut butter. πŸ˜‚

  • @salliestephens1252 says:

    Great ideas!

  • @Iosis4818 says:

Chickpeas, rice and maybe corn.Great for storage, can make variety meals out of it and you can regrow chickpea and corn so you won Β΄t run out ingredients

  • @karenmccracken says:

If you’re on a deserted island the thought would be that you could catch fish, have coconuts, etc. (reference: Gilligan) Lol So for me I’d bring lentils, salt, and sweet potatoes.

  • @ImJustRandom-z says:

PLUS SALMON AND SWEET POTATO ARE SO DAMNNN GOOD

  • @relentlesssloth646 says:

Black beans, oats, and blueberries. Hopefully I could find my greens on the island somewhere.

  • @MeaganPennington says:

I want to ask more questions. What kind of deserted island? What are the natural resources? Fresh water or salt water?

  • @liloandstitcbedtogether says:

NO HEMP SEED??? Abby, I thought I knew you… πŸ˜…

  • @leaf.n1nja says:

My first thoughts were whole greek yogurt for protein and fats, almonds for like the same reason, and beans for fiber and carbs. And ig i just assumed together they would cover vitamins and stuff. I think its a pretty good list. πŸ€”

  • @kyrar.j.4856 says:

Choosing just three items for a deserted island is difficult. My immediate thoughts were kiwi, quinoa, and potatoes, because I have extensive food limitations and these are my go-to dailies or weeklies already. But leaving behind already filtered water and dairy would make me sad. Maybe I should bring the whole dairy cow πŸ˜‚ the occasional beef and milk would be nice to balance out the predominantly fish and salt water based meals lol

  • @JustCallMeCindy says:

For me it’s eggs, avocado, and purple sweet potatoπŸ™Œ

    • @attackonmemory says:

Are purple sweet potatoes in most stores or are they tough to find? Also what makes them different/better/worse than regular sweet potatoes?

    • @JustCallMeCindy says:

@attackonmemoryΒ  Purple sweet potatoes are healthier in some ways because they’re rich in anthocyanins, powerful antioxidants that help fight inflammation, support heart and brain health, and protect cells from damage. They also have a lower glycemic index, which means they raise blood sugar more slowly, and they’re great for gut health thanks to their fiber and natural compounds.
I usually buy my purple sweet potatoes at the Asian supermarket here in Europe, but they aren’t always available. Sometimes they’re not fresh and taste different, but when they’ve just been delivered fresh, they’re really good.🩷🀭

  • @Hj4750-b9i says:

I would bring Peanut butter, dates and apples😊

  • @stefaniepratt7840 says:

The 3 sisters beans, corn. And squash

  • @kimberlyrichardson8760 says:

    Beef jerky comes to mind.

  • @lorispeak says:

Salmon and sweet potato…I am there!

  • @ElssiePlum says:

Ok but you can catch fish and if you bring the whole pumpkin you could eat the flesh instead of sweet potatoes for similar benefits and still have the seeds!
