Another option is egg casserole or muffins: I add cottage cheese, kefir, beans, cheese, sweet potato and loads of veggies to up the protein and fiber. It’s easy to prep in advance and you just pop it in the microwave

  • @BrandiStamps says:

What a great video, thanks Autumn!

I have made smoothies with kefir for the last 5 years. It’s an acquired taste but if you like your smoothie more sour than sweet it’s a winner. I pour in 2 raw eggs as well and some rapeseed oil, some blueberries, raspberries, and tumeric. Toss it in a blender and then fill upp with your seeds of. choice.

    • @Lisatwade says:

Do some research on rapeseed oil. Olive oil is better, or butter or ghee.

    • @jessicathuresson6913 says:

@@Lisatwade Possibly but the taste of olive oil in a smoothie is not pleasant 😁

    • @Lisatwade says:

@@jessicathuresson6913 I can understand that. Even coconut oil would be a better choice or mct oil. Processed oils like rapeseed hinder the body’s ability to burn fat. Don’t know if you are wanting to burn fat, but it’s worth checking into.

Egg bites! I make homemade egg bites for my daughters during swimteam season. They consist of eggs, milk, bacon, and sharp cheddar cheese. 🧀 😋 Great protein boost in the middle of a meet! 🏊‍♀️

    • @panangle says:

You can also add some cottage cheese in the egg bites for even more protein!

    • @Leo-mr1qz says:

      @@panangle Great idea! 😊

    • @catpatrick3838 says:

One cup cottage cheese, 6 eggs, blend till smooth, grated gruyere cheese and Epic brand bacon pieces. I use regular size silicone muffin pans, bake at 350 for about 15-20 minutes, until they “dome”. I get 24 egg bites out of this recipe, muffin cups filled about half full with the egg mixture. They’re almost as creamy as the sous vide method but loads easier. Freeze beautifully.

  • @strwbryblondi07 says:

Hard boiled eggs, pumpkin seeds, and smoked salmon are my go-to proteins with my daily lunch salad – easy and tasty! I also save bacon from the weekend to crumble

  • @elizabethwalline6042 says:

I give my daughter kefir every morning instead of milk and she absolutely loves it! Such a underrated product.

Also, I live in South Carolina and cottage cheese is sold out by me too! So frustrating. so you clearly did a good job getting the message out

  • @linmeathome says:

In asia I saw most people add to scrambled egg with crushed tofu

  • @deborahclayton3101 says:

The highest fat cottage cheese I can find in my grocery store is 4%. So, that’s what I’m buying now. I really appreciate your advice.

  • @shirleygrogan6094 says:

I did Kefir chia pudding with blueberries & hemp seeds.

  • @marciachantabhan6870 says:

I like plain kefir with truvani banana cinnamon protein powder, frozen strawberries, freeze-dried strawberries (adds color), and a little honey or maple syrup. It is 25-30g protein

  • @Athlete1015 says:

Not quite related but I want to share with Autumn and you all! Try adding zucchini to strawberry non fat Greek yogurt! So good! I peel mine and chop it small- plain non fat Greek yogurt with strawberries and zucchini etc

  • @sonjacarpenter9224 says:
