And here i was raised on raw milk 😅

  • @ingridsoderhielm8324 says:

I wish wellness influencer would stop quoting their bs advice like it’s truth!

  • @hungergameshub says:

now I’m scared of Costco chicken for no reason

  • @facemema says:

I’m betting on raw milk 😅

  • @omnipotentfaces1514 says:

Kinda relived I’m clearly so out of it that I don’t know about a lot of these ones!

  • @jessiematthews6339 says:

I went through one of those diploma mill “health coach” programs in the early 2000’s and they pushed that raw milk myth HARD. 😬

    • @Ad_Inferno says:

I honestly don’t get it! Raw meat and raw eggs are known to be risky foods when they’re raw, so why would milk not be similar? We don’t have the hyper acidic gut of a carnivore nor the gut microbiome of a calf to protect us from pathogens in cow’s milk. My argument has always been if you feel that strongly about pasteurization, just… go eat yogurt with live cultures.

  • @missjo2036 says:

I have a smoothie because it helps me get my servings of fruit in a day.

  • @marilynng2877 says:

Growing up in a small town in Mexico, we would have fresh milk once in a while. But we Always boiled the milk before consumption. And then after the milk cooled down we scooped the nata (milk cream) and stored it in a Tupperware in the fridge. Nata spread on toast was the best thing on Earth! Oh my gosh I miss that so much!😋🥹

  • @user-od5hr3up6g says:

    ALL GREAT POINTS!!

  • @MastermindElizabeth says:

As a person who used to get tagged in tiktok B.S. for lupus and gastroparesis diets, i scream when i see them. I have a gastro and dietitian. 5 stomach surgeries and i still have issues with my stomach and weight. I have very low blood sugar my A1C was 1.09 and its causing heart issues. These influencers can literally kill you. Please seek medical advice before even starting a vitamin regime. To much potassium can be life threatening.

    • @Sasharanger says:

      Yes it can cause dysrhythmias.

    • @Sasharanger says:

Good luck with your gastro problems. I bet you get a lot of unsolicited advice from family/ friends that care, but don’t be afraid to “trust your gut” A lot of advice on the internet is BS. I would suggest listening to doctors and doing your own research from credited medical sites directly related to diets for your condition.

    • @Sasharanger says:

And this probably goes without saying but please don’t use TikTok or YouTube shorts as a source of info for medial advice on your condition. I know people post videos to “help” others with their diet but it’s really anecdotal most of the time. I would research on your on your own before trusting internet sources. ❤

    • @saragarska6335 says:

Gastropareisis suuuuucks. I’m sorry you deal with that. If anything, for folks with lower motility, simpler carbs and cooked foods (not raw) are easier to digest/are more compatible with the speed at which a gastro person’s digestion happens.

  • @dianewilson2330 says:

If it’s not easier on the gut, why do so many not have gastric pain when drinking raw milk but struggle with pasteurized? Explain.

My nephew was literally puking every single kind of formula to the point of failure to thrive. As a last ditch attempt to feed him, my sister did the Weston A. Price formula with RAW milk. For the first time he didnt throw up and started to gain weight. And before the haters come, a pediatrician was watching this situation very closely so, chill. Explain.

Her 2nd son is NG tube fed. He has been on just about every kind of formula from pasturized dairy to elcare. Same thing. Threw up uncontrollably. Raw milk formula like his brother and no longer throwing up. Not all his doctors are on board but its hard to argue with the scale. Explain.

My best friend gets an upset stomach on pasturized milk. Zero problems with raw. Explain.

I’m not upset. Im legitimately asking for an explanation. 🤷‍♀️

    • @angellovex5860 says:

These are anecdotal occurrences. Ik glad they found something that worked for them, but do a little research on pubmed, science direct or Google scholar. They’ll have articles based on research about this topic. Raw milk can be dangerous because of the bacteria in it for instance

    • @dariamariemuller says:

If your milk is coming from a reputable source ie. a family farm where you know for sure they are implementing correct sterilization practices, I truly believe it is miles better.

    • @dianewilson2330 says:

Anecdotal occurances matter, too. I’m very aware of what “the dangers are.” But to say it isn’t more easily digested when it very obviously is by MANY people is ridiculous. I’d find it more honest and accurate to say “many people find raw milk to be more easily digested but it’s not widely recommended and one should take caution and educate yourself on the risks before consuming.”

Right now, it’s just “RAW MILK BAD!”

      And my favorite…

      “Your experience doesn’t count.”

    • @JH-nb4nn says:

It’s because she’s lying. Tonnes of people can drink raw milk but not pasturised. And you are statistically more likely to get food poisoning from a salad but they don’t pasturise spinach.

    • @emilyribnicky9410 says:

My husband gets horrid diahrrea and gas from pasteurized milk. We started drinking raw from a trusted local farm and he can have as much as he wants with no side effects. I gotta be honest, fresh jersey cow milk tastes sooo much better than whatever they’re selling at the store.

  • @annawitter5161 says:

I love the one about being more stressed by worrying about what’s in the food than eating a takeaway. Life is really too short not to enjoy

  • @ShadowOfADoubt9 says:

    Preach 🙌

  • @darlenelibbi1030 says:

Those influences swear to raw milk. I’m waiting for them to get ill, even though they probably will never admit it

  • @austyn396 says:

you’re telling me that 42 bananas for lunch isn’t going to cut it?!!???????

  • @sammysammyson says:

That raw milk one is so real. PLEASE take advantage of the pasteurization process. Please.

  • @glittercakes7720 says:

Smoothie is the only way I’ll eat kale and with yogurt and protein powder it’s just fine.

  • @tammiepowell2818 says:

Absolutely loving these kind of shorts…these are great for those of us who might get triggered by longer videos. Lots of info but nothing that puts me into a tail spin…thank you!

  • @mumandbabyfood says:

not so quick, my english isn’t that good! 😅😂

  • @daemon2426 says:

I absolutely love raw milk, but I refuse to buy it unless I can see how they milk. I can’t afford the very severe illnesses raw milk absolutely can carry when less than absolute care is taken while milking.
