Imagine thinking that a well seasoned soup with a variety of vegetables and beans was unhealthy because there were many ingredients 😂😂😂 the logic is flawed from the start
Right he didn’t say any unattural ingredients lol
I was thinking that too! My yogurt has 5 active cultures – oops, 5 brain cells!
And how many compounds would be listed out in an orange? At a minimum you would separate out the citric acid, fructose, and fiber.
God forbid you have a 13 bean soup with vegetables!
You know full well that the guy was referring to packaged foods, not homemade soup
@@user-fc4xg5ym1t well he’s saying ingredients = bad, it’s not my fault his blanket statement is stupid. If he thinks packaged foods are bad why wouldn’t he just say that? 🤔
Because he was literally using hot pockets as an example in this video lol, say you didn’t watch the video without saying you didn’t watch the video
Just eat straight up salt, one ingredient, super smort!
Joshua knows he was saying some bs but his pocket$$$$ think otherwise 😅
Love how he just makes things up. He can’t be serious. We know whole foods is best, but c’mon.
It came to him in a dream
I didn’t even have to eat a hot pocket, I just listened to Joshua and lost brain cells 😅
🤣🎉
I lost braincells listening to that guy. 😂
People on tiktok are really wildin out with nick cannon 🤣
The man just admitted that he only had 50 brain cells
It would appear you have even less than that if you took that literally.
Abby your advice is not much better
Remember the ketchup potato chips?
So encouraging people to eat a combination of protein, carbs, and healthy fats is bad advice now?? As is encouraging then to eat a variety of fruits and veggies while also not demonizing any particular food or food group? Interesting take.
Even legitimate credentials doesn’t make the advice automatically right.
Yes, Abbey is a perfect example of this.
Lol. Yup. It’s not like Abbey’s advice is any better than this guy’s.
I played this game during my ED! Sadly I lost REAL brain cells as a consequence. 😞
Grifter doing as they always do! Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s peddling a snake oil product and/or a book that’s suppose to help you grow brain cells via a starvation diet.
Just like Abbey peddles unregulated and overpriced supplements 🤡
Just like how Abbey peddles unregulated and overpriced supplements.
50 braincell challenge….he lost before he even got started
I’m afraid that the people who took what he said literally are actually the ones that lost the challenge, not him.
These guys with opinions & no credentials kill me. I saw a post that interested me, & just inquired about the creators credentials. The comments said that meant I was obviously a “boomer”, & only boomers worry about credentials
no truly. i hate that people just post so much nutrition advice on tiktok without thinking about the repercussions. i went to his video said shame on him for spreading so much misinformation with no credentials and he told me to be less lazy and do my research 🤣 ok so you do admit you have no credentials? 😭😭
i went to this guys tiktok told him shame on him for posting so much misinformation without credentials and he told me to be less lazy and actually do research on the books 🤣🤣 people really just say anything on tiktok, it’s kind of scary how we can be so easily persuaded into believing things like this. please, if those things he said were true i literally wouldn’t be typing this now
But there _is_ copious amounts of research that proves a diet high in heavily processed foods is unhealthy. That’s all he is saying here. He didn’t mean you will literally lose brain cells from eating that stuff, just that it is unhealthy and you should aim to avoid it. Pretty simple stuff actually.
You do know he didn’t mean this literally right? It’s just a way of helping people identify and avoid highly processed foods.
Yup, I’m convinced Abbey can’t discern between what’s serious and what’s not. That “50 brain cells” expression seemed to go over her head.
@@giuseppeferrara952 I think she’s just reaching for things to be critical about and it’s giving big Karen energy but I guess that’s just her brand now.
@@kittster2785 Possibly. Whatever gives her more views and profit is good enough for her, I guess.
You do realize that “50 brain cells” was hyperbole, right? It’s just an exaggerated way of saying that we should watch out for things with a lot of unfamiliar ingredients as a way to identify processed foods like hot pockets. He’s not saying we can never have them, but be mindful of them. So he’s not wrong. Abbey wouldn’t understand a joke or what’s not serious if it flew in her face. 🤡
Also, why are you resorting to appeal to accomplishment fallacies? Bragging about your credentials as a Dietitian as if you have a higher authority on the field than he does? You’re not one to cloud judgements on the claims that others make on the field.
Hey Abbey! I am a dietetics student and MIND diet researcher! Thank you so much for addressing the nuance behind nutrition and how it impacts our quality of life.
If you watch his video, you’ll see he said it was a game. He wasn’t being serious
