Thanks Mayra. I eat what I want during Christmas.

I’ve done keto and want to start again it only takes 2 or 3 days but any advice for motivation or how you stick to it, track I want to hear it. I feel my best living keto and it helps my epilepsy. I love your channel. Congratulations on your huge success 15 year success

  • @christinedenton8949 says:

Thank you, I agree to not taking it so seriously that we forget to live. ❀

  • @betterlivingonabudget says:

Love your channel, you are such an inspiration! ❀ I find traveling disrupts my appetite, and I usually lose a couple pounds! I’m not in my own home so not inclined to snack or overeat at meals like I might on my own. Same thing flying home – I get back kind of exhausted, ready to focus on Me-Time and no appetite for a day or two. Plus, most of my fam are not into eating veggies *sigh*, so I get home ready to eat allll the veg!

  • @KayMoxam says:

You look amazing Myra. Thank you for all the great ideas, recipes.

WOW‼️ I was SO SURPRISED that your favorite, feel good weight is around 175‼️
I am 5’4’’ and at that weight I would be SO OVERWEIGHT πŸ˜±πŸ˜³β€¦
THEN, THANKFULLY you said you are right at 6 feet tall‼️
I can understand how your comfortable weight is that high, (175).

My doctor told me I should weigh 124.

    WHEW‼️

    Thank you for this info.πŸ’•πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ’•

Happy birthday my birthday is today and. I will keep my new years resolution so that I can enjoy myself comfortably next year.

I want to learn how to fast

  • @karenmartin1894 says:

I went back to low-carb eating and just lost twenty-one pounds in two months. I’m nearly sixty-five and post-menopausal. I’m also a lifer on prednisone to maintain remission for an incurable kidney disease. If I can lose on a low-carb diet, anyone can. πŸ₯³

  • @juliasusanafonso says:

I eat the healthier options at the holiday meals and usually bring something I would feel comfortable eating to share with the family. I also make sure to eat the proteins first, and if I dig into the deserts I keep them minimal. So I enjoy myself with balance!

    • @thelordismyshepherd1366 says:

Yes! It’s very doable if you bring your own healthy options. You can still enjoy things without over doing it. 😊

  • @missiris1234 says:

Congratulations Mayra! Nice loss. Enjoy your holidays with your family. You are amazing. Enjoy every moment this holiday season 🍾🍸πŸ₯ƒπŸ·

  • @thelordismyshepherd1366 says:

What I do for thanksgiving is that I eat everything available in moderation. I try to bring vegetables dishes to choose from so I can still keep on eye on carbs. Christmas is tricky because ,yea, being Latino we have tamales and ponche and those things. I still enjoy them because I only have them literally once a year. I’m not giving them up. I just try to avoid eating out during this time and exercise a one more day a week. I haven’t gained any weight using this moderate approach during the holidays. I think I am so busy too that it counts as extra activity as well. I really appreciate your post on this topic. I’m still learning.

  • @imnotliz says:

Thank u for the honesty. Life will life! Learning how to navigate it is key. Learning lessons and changing a few things here or there can make such a difference in maintenance! Happy Thanksgiving & God bless ❀

  • @annatrigeros-rocha7701 says:

Thank you for your honesty girlπŸ™ you’re such an inspiration. I’ve been on my weight loss journey for over a year (down 40 lbs) . I’m also a diabetic and have been able to stop the insulin with diet and exercise.
I’m also Mexican and our culture is centered around food and family ❀ i loved what you said “it doesn’t matter what you do one day, what matters is consistency “. That’s priceless!! ❀

  • @raebird1797 says:

Myra I’m also an almost 6ft tall girl and people are shocked when I say I am comfortable around 170lb and they typically guess that I’m around 145 ish lbs. thanks for all your advice and honesty. All my love and support, you look smoking’ hot mama!πŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ•ŠοΈ

  • @shonavarney366 says:

For the holidays, I try not to drink too often, mainly as I tend to make unhealthier choices after alcohol. Enjoy the food but don’t overdo it. Lots of water and move as much as possible, big walks , get family involved in fitness. Make it fun, stay realistic and enjoy!

  • @stonecoldwwe13 says:

Love your channel, love your honesty! I’m 56 going through the female things. I got hurt fell on my tailbone going into church. I was put on bad medicine that made me gain a lot of weight. I’m 5’3″ and I hit 260 the highest and it scared me! I’m now down to 152 almost to my 135 goal weight!

  • @Ellie-1776 says:

Congratulations, Myra! You are doing amazing on your journey and we are blessed to have you share your story with us along with all of your wonderful content! I’m loving your channel and following your story! Thank you for being an inspiration to me and to so many out here! Happy early Birthday to you, to your beautiful daughter and Happy Holidays, too!

  • @Hinz2005 says:

I’m short and muscular. I weigh 125-127lbs at 5’3”. Many charts say I should weigh 115! I would be miserable at that weight! I do track weight in Happy Scale app but I also rely on the fit of my clothing. You are doing the right thing to acknowledge how you FEEL. And yes, you are so tall! You look great-trim and healthy.

  • @iggs10 says:

I’m 5’9” and my daughter is 6’1”. I have no desire to weigh what a super model weighs. I love being tall but I also really enjoy food. πŸ™‚
