11 miles and that amount of food looks dangerous!! I would honestly faint if it was me! And the GASLIGHTING

  • @estrella507 says:

This is so sad. Good for the girl standing up for herself in the video but this type of gaslighting can lead to an unhealthy relationship with food and possibly a disorder. I hope this girl is ok.

  • @pamelagood8077 says:

Is there a follow up? Hope she worked things out.

  • @tonie48 says:

Yikes, that is enough food for a child, not someone who runs 11 miles

    • @Lulu-lt7ft says:

@@tonie48 her mum made her food, she can make herself more food if she isn’t satisfied. Her mum put a cooked meal in front of her, she should be greatful.

    • @user-nq3oo5sj2f says:

      @@Lulu-lt7ftlmao you gotta be trolling

    • @Tontoquienloleation says:

@@Lulu-lt7ft You don’t know about the dynamics in that house. Maybe she isn’t allowed to cook, maybe they take turns and the mum was cooking that day.

    • @Lulu-lt7ft says:

@Tontoquienloleation  ok, if she said that then that is fucked up but she didn’t. And seeing she was brave enough to put her mum on blast I’m guessing it isn’t like that in their house.

    • @JustMe-no8el says:

      @@Lulu-lt7ftlooked pretty healthy too

  • @siggivonmahlmann6482 says:

    That mom is dangerous

  • @kantakouzini says:

The mom’s smile before being told “for you”…yea thats not a parent id like to have.

  • @unjelli says:

It is a normal amount of food .. for a person who works a desk job in their 50s.

  • @vanessabogaert2104 says:

My Puerto Rican mother would be horrified at this portion size!

  • @FaeQueenCory says:

Athletes eat insane amounts of food… Because they need to burn that energy.
    The gaslighting is crazy.

  • @devsie11915 says:

Kids are growing muscles and bones from their food. They don’t need to be athletes to need the calories. My 10 year old (disabled and fed via g-tube) receives 1800 calories per day to keep up with his caloric needs. Wild to me that you’d deny your kids the food their bodies need to grow while I’m over here going to Gastro appointments every three months trying to get my kid MORE food. I understand that childhood obesity is an issue, but if your kid’s doctor says they’re healthy, just feed them balanced meals with a focus on whole foods. SMH at the almond moms.

  • @mirazzzz says:

“Normal amount of food” that could feed my 9 year old sister lol

  • @tallspicy says:

This mother will be confused when the daughter stops talking to her in adulthood.

  • @RedVelvetLines says:

Our moms only care that we are as skinny as possible

  • @two_5 says:

running 11 miles with that little food is so scary and dangerous!!

  • @jessicacruit5770 says:

This might be a normal amount for a menopausal woman. I don’t think she is remembering what young, athletic metabolisms require.

    • @irmaktemel7171 says:

She probably feels less hunger and feels satiated quicker too. Having a slower metabolism and less interest in food in general plays a big part in this as well

  • @CherryJuli says:

That‘s what you eat when you had a big dinner and still feel like something later.

  • @LaLumina says:

Seeing so many mothers today pushing their menopausal diets on growing up girls…makes me really angry that they can’t see life is not only about THEM!

  • @anamandic4540 says:

I’m not even running 11 miles and that’s not enough food for me. And I’m a slim, lean, person.

  • @hollie8831 says:

Similarly, people I know try to feed me more food than feels comfortable for me – because I feel bloated after eating a few bites and I get very tired after food, so I try to turn down big portions or more food being added to my plate when I am feeling full, but it can sort of get into a very polite argument where the loved-one is trying to convince me to eat more. I love them and understand that food is a love language, but putting people under pressure to eat is not. It makes the dinner table feel like a battleground and you can lose your appetite thinking about it. No one wants pressure and limitations about how they fuel their own body. ❤

  • @samc299 says:

I would eat that portion. But I’m not that active and I’m nearly 40. My friend who is very slim and active and 7 years younger than me would need about 4 times that amount to eat. Everyone is different and that mother is lucky if her daughter doesn’t end up with an eating disorder.
