I absolutely agree. My daughter tries the TikTok recipes and they never come out right. I keep trying to tell her making food look delicious is easy the real taste is a whole different story

Show her some of Ann Reardon’s debunking videos.

    • @alisaishere says:

Having done some food styling, let me tell you, 75% of the food you see is either altered to the point it’s no longer edible (shortening makes a great looking scoop of ice cream on cameras), or it’s not the actual recipe (something simple like buttered noodles often photographs better if it’s oiled noodles).

    Love you both! ❤

  • @PinkRabbitPearl says:

There’s a YouTuber that gives food advice (not sure if you’ve reviewed her or not), but I’m constantly comparing my self to her because she’s extremely skinny, like ED skinny level. I’m trying to stop my own ED thoughts but she’s honestly so triggering!

    • @AngelicRamen says:

I highly recommend blocking her account and hitting the “not interested” button on re-uploads. I wish you the best in healing.

    • @PinkRabbitPearl says:

@ Thanks! I didn’t know I could block people on YT, didn’t really consider it much.
