That entire post was so unhinged 😅
It’s satire!!!!
If that kid was me, i shure as hell would be refusing any of her baked goods in protest. But i am very petty
Sure doesn’t have an h in it
If your kid going behind your back to eat a grocery store muffin is the biggest concern in your life than I think you’re doing pretty well. Maybe journal about it rather than post online about how controlling you are?
I think it also says a lot that the kid feels like they have to hid something that small…if she really wanted a good relationship with her son she would be more open to communication and not put their business online
The og poster is known for satire. It’s just a joke and people take it as her being an awful controlling parent. Chronically online
@@lotusella9521yeah i was thinking thats all it was bc it was too extreme not to be a joke
I mean if her muffins are as good as she says i wouldn’t think he would be buying grocery store muffins behind her back.
@@flameepidemic4839and yet their are parents out their who do what she mentioned in real life. With her it is a joke, but for other parents they are seriously this extreme.
I’d like to imagine that the lady is overexaggerating for the sake of being a content creator. I refuse to believe anyone is that weird about their kid buying a snack that’s essentially a mass produced version of what you’re feeding them at home anyway. Then again…people are full of surprises.
My parents would have been mad but they were a bit weird
Her video’s are satire
Thank you, I was worried for a second!
The original video is something I would say simply for a laugh. I might be a little offended for a minute and play with my daughter about it but at the end of the day it means less baking for me. I don’t think she was serious.
But didn’t she also literally put veggies in her daughter’s cake
And not in a good way
Like instead of sprinkles
Maybe it was about the seed oils
The storebought has more ingredients bc they’re listing everything in the chocolate chips too.
THIS . OMG ppl think they’re experts about this crap when they’re not comparing apples to apples!
plus the vitamins in the flour if it’s in the US!
My thing with people who say “don’t eat things if you can’t pronounce any of the ingredients” is why are they always scientifically illiterate. Of course you can’t pronounce sodium benzoate you haven’t taken a chem class since high school and you probably barely passed that one.
i agree but in their defense not everyone has a chance to take any classes past high school
“They have everything he could possibly need” – perhaps it’s not just about what he “needs”, but what he wants or desires as well?
Right? Maybe he just likes the taste of the muffins he buys more. Considering that she puts mashed bananas in her muffins, I can sympathize (don’t like banana taste with chocolate).
This lady sounds like she was joking but my friend got her mom a gift card to Hello fresh since she says she has no time to plan meals. Her husband loves it so much he prefers Hello Fresh over her regular cooking. She is so offeneded thaf she says Hello Fresh is awful and expensive and she will never buy it again. This reminded me of that for some reason.
The more you tell them they can’t have them the more they are going to want them if she was to just chill a bit I bet they wouldn’t want them as much and be more than happy eating the ones she has baked. I think they will always taste better to the kids as it comes with the extra feeling of doing something a bit naughty by eating the store bought ones if you take that away I bet they won’t taste so good.
Maybe they think the store bought ones taste better!😂😂
And that’s a huge L for her because store bought should never compare to freshly baked goods😂
I guess she doesn’t realize all the processing that went into each of her ingredients? If the grocery store muffins are processed, yours are just as much!
I’m glad you mentioned this creator. She made her daughter have fairy bread with carrot and cabbage instead of sprinkles. Like just let her have a few sprinkles lol
Oh so it’s not “how to cook that” (only Aussie baker that I know of apparently), I was worried.
Honestly you can call yourself lucky if the worst your son spends his money on is chocolate muffins – let him make some bad decisions and be happy it’s really not that bad.
Wow!! If that’s the worse “betrayal” she ever gets from a blood relative, she will be beyond blessed.
Super dramatic mom. I love her
Its just how it is with kids.
When you dont get supermarket muffins, you want them, cause other kids got it.
I wanted name brand cereal….cause we never got it. I wanted whole milk and whole heavy cream cause my mom barely remembered milk and it was always skimmed.
We were broke and my mom had an ed so…if she didnt eat it she didnt think to buy it often. We never had a full fridge and never had a pantry, much less a full pantry. Lol, the house i have had for 8 years has a pantry the size of a small walk in closet! I think it was the coat closet when the house was built. But man, what a spoiled feeling i have when i do my costco run😂
Yeah, that’s exactly how it is.
I loved to get cheap frozen pizza, cheap candy and chips with friends because we always had homemade pizza and high quality candy and chips at home. I also was fascinated by this weird cheese you buy in slices because we only had blocks of cheese from Italy, France, or Switzerland.
The things we had tasted much better, but it was just fun to eat the cheaper versions with friends because we never had them at home. My parents probably thought it was weird, but they let me eat it because it was a thing I did once in a while with friends, not on a daily basis.
I agree, I love baking & can bake a lot of amazing goodies, but I will never be able to top Costco’s Double Chocolate muffins!
