I wanted to ask about fatigue/muscle recovery supplements (rather then longevity focus) for someone in 50s who is extremely active and is fatigued from and cannot do what they did previously (HIIT workouts etc). I have been trying to limit the “hard” HIIT days and have more easy days though legs seem still fatigued. Might just be age lol.

    Also what about focussing on fast twitch muscle enhancing exercises as you age to increase longevity as you lose those type of muscle fibers? Any benefits for longevity from that for longevity or is more for mobility?

    Thanks for the 50+ list, I (63) already take 4 or the 5. Just a nitpick here…. I take 4000 fu nattokinanse twice a week but I don’t consider it a ‘supplement’, I take it for what it is, an enzyme that has nothing to do with my body’s nutritional needs, it just happens to have a quirky ability to dissolve fibrotic tissue.

    Would 4 grams of glycine and 1.2 grams NAC be good for a 70 year old male. I also take 20 grams of collagen peptides daily. NAC seems to irritate my stomach,should it be taken with food?
