Yesterday at the barbecue i realized i was burning way more fat than usual, one of the tell-tell signs of burning more fat than you think you do is the black smoke. So i just turn down the flame, even though i like my food to be a bit smoky in flavor. Anyway, i burned a lot of fat that day yet when i weigh myself in the evening i was heavier. I must have gain muscles from flipping all those burgers that i end up eating, i even had to loose the belt from all the muscles gained that day 😀

That’s cool! Great job on your fat loss. I can tell when I’m burning fat because my breath smells different, my urine smells different, but especially because my clothes are fitting better and my physique looks stronger. I keep mint sugar-free gum in my purse to help with the bad breath LOL I have 5 pairs of jeans that I’m squeezing into in a smaller size that I can’t wait to wear in the fall so I’m really motivated to lose more fat and gain more muscle.
I’ve just gotten into my favorite black jeans again after losing 80 lbs over 9 months. I’m so excited to be wearing them again! It’s so motivating. I’ve 53 lbs to go to reach my goal weight & ‘healthy’ BMI. Best of luck with your weight loss journey.❤❤❤

Can you recommend a good scale besides Inbody?

Autumn have you ever heard of the Bod Pod? It’s available for use to military and military dependents at most military installations. It gives you a reading similar to inBody but it uses air displacement to measure your overall mass and break it down by fat, muscle, etc. Curious to know your thoughts on it as I don’t have access to an inBody near me.
I’ll have to look more into it, I’m not super familiar with it!
Hi Autumn 👋- Thanks for your weight tracking/measuring advice. I do measurements with a tape once a month but take my scale weight daily with a BMI read out. I’ll need to seek out an ‘Inbody’ to start getting better information along my weight loss journey. I’m down -80 lbs over 9 months at age 61. I love your channel content ❤❤❤
For those of you over 60. Check into getting a calcium cardiac scan. It will cost $49. Will tell you your risk of heart issues. Do your research.
