  • @MyMd1111 says:

Hmm, but what about the load on the kidneys when taking SGLT2-i ?

  • @StraitjacketFitness says:

Any thoughts on combining BFR training with EMS training?
Ive been thinking about using this approach 2 times a week 30-60minutes before bed. One day for forearms, bi’s & tri’s. And one day for quads, hams, tibs, & calves.

Do you take MitoPure Urolithin A? Can you do a video on this?

    • @joebartles3986 says:

It’s useless if you work out

    • @KST9182 says:

It’s been looked at & it doesn’t work… manufacturers cherry picked results part way through & at end of trial no real differences … from memory. Eat real food… it’s much cheaper as well! 👏

    • @Dylan-nl3is says:

Eat pomegranates or drink Pom juice. Or freeze dried pomegranate powder.

    • @ccamire says:

No science on the product only one trial completed with zero benefits. An improvement in a biomarker is not an indication of a clinical benefit.

    • @travv88 says:

@@Dylan-nl3is Not the same. Contains precursors to Urolithin A but the rate of conversions depends on the person and even then assuming high conversion you would get 5-15mg of Urolithin A from an entire pomegranate. Far below what you’d get from a single capsule.

      Pomegranates are still good though.

  • @lv1985aa says:

Naproxen was the most interesting finding in my opinion.

  • @silviahayakawa6655 says:

    Great information! Thank you!

  • @CristiVladZ says:

Siim, this is quite in depth! And you don’t find this information in all longevity videos, which mostly regurgitate the same info. You’ve done your homework very well. I’d love to see more videos like this! Cheers.

  • @g33k37 says:

If you’re on furosemide, you are in heartfailure.

    • @theancientsancients1769 says:

It killed my dad after they overdosed him with that it caused kidney failure

  • @GuidoDePalma says:

Low dose Cialis is definitely helpful from age of 40

    • @rickster5922 says:

that’s true, but you have to extremely careful because tadalafil interacts negatively with so many things particularly supplements, it’s a minefield and that exists for most medications, and as a consequence can be dangerous. Cheers

    • @GuidoDePalma says:

@ anything in particular I should look at? I don’t take any meds, but I use several supplements.

    • @rickster5922 says:

@@GuidoDePalma Supplements to Use with Caution or Avoid:
      1. Nitrates / Nitric Oxide Boosters
      Examples: L-arginine, L-citrulline, beetroot, nitrate-rich pre-workouts

Why: Can cause excessive drops in blood pressure when combined with tadalafil.

Advice: Avoid combining without medical supervision.

      2. Blood Pressure-Lowering Supplements
Examples: Omega-3 (high doses), magnesium, CoQ10, hawthorn, garlic, potassium

Why: May enhance the blood pressure-lowering effect of tadalafil.

Advice: Monitor blood pressure closely if used together.

      3. Stimulants or Vasodilators
Examples: Yohimbe, caffeine (in high amounts), ginseng

Why: Can increase cardiovascular strain when combined with tadalafil.

Advice: Avoid or use with medical advice.

      4. Grapefruit / Grapefruit Extract
Why: Inhibits CYP3A4, which slows the breakdown of tadalafil, raising its levels and risk of side effects.

      Advice: Avoid during tadalafil use.

✅ Generally Safe Supplements (When Used Moderately):
Zinc, vitamin D, B-complex, creatine, and basic multivitamins are typically safe unless combined with large doses of vasodilators or stimulants.

      Summary:
If you’re taking tadalafil, avoid supplements that lower blood pressure or dilate blood vessels unless your doctor says it’s okay. The most concerning combinations are L-arginine, beetroot, and grapefruit. check everything with ChatGPT, amazing

  • @olegjohnkonings5854 says:

    great video!
PDE5inhibitors seem to be more beneficial to older men than statins, wish doctors would understand this data.
Could you do a video on the peptide MOTS-c, it seems to have some benefits, or at least ChatGPT thinks so.. Thanks!

  • @marktapley7571 says:

Medical malpractice including wrong prescriptions, wrong or improperly done procedures and wrong dosages are the 3rd leading cause of death in the US. Getting admitted to a hospital and getting treatment is one of the most dangerous things a person can do.

  • @kaisersoze851 says:

What about Finasteride Siim? Can you make a deep dive on it in regards to longevity? Dr Brad Stanfield believes it has longevity benefits, curious to hear your take.

  • @travv88 says:

I am consistently underwhelmed by all real world data on metformin. Why is it still touted as a longevity drug?

    • @theancientsancients1769 says:

My dad had kidney disease and Metformin made his kidneys worse! However Berberine affected not his kidneys

    • @travv88 says:

@@theancientsancients1769 Interesting. SGLT2 inhibitors seem way better for that application.

  • @dazone705 says:

Thanks for yet another wonderful video.

Initially I thought your channel was called Slim Land 😊

  • @leondbleondb says:

The confidence interval for the SGL2 is wide enough to include the estrogens. So basically similar.

  • @leondbleondb says:

Can women drink the PDE5 inhibitors for potential extension?

  • @scotlandtheinsane3359 says:

    Fasting, diet, working out..thats it.
There still isn’t any treatment for longevity extension yet..
    But I feel they’re coming..

  • @travv88 says:

Siim do a video on the LEVF Robust Mouse Rejuvenation studies 1 and the upcoming number 2. Cover what it is about, what they hope to achieve and the different interventions they have covered in 1 and will cover in 2. It would be a great video.
