we can’t just eat whole foods, we need balance. and plus everything is processed nowadays, but processed is not always bad. ultra processed food, yeah maybe but if you want to eat “whole foods” just remember that everything is processed is someway but that that DOES NOT mean it’s a bad food

    • I Catfished Your Dad says:

Couldn’t agree more. Also, food deserts exist. Poverty exists. Some people aren’t able to afford “real” foods, some people don’t live near anywhere where fresh fruit and veg is readily available and some people are working multiple jobs and sometimes don’t have the time or energy to cook “real” meals with “real” ingredients. Obviously healthy, balanced diets are the goal for everyone but for some it’s just not a reality.

  • Jessica W says:

“Oh God, I’m tired”😂😂. I love how you’re breaking down these toxic positivity messages that we see within the wellness culture. Please keep smashing the patriarchy to smithereens

  • gaceofspades says:

I love the “real food” and “no chemicals” trope. Like girly, chemicals are everything, everywhere

  • Cymbeline Britain says:

Whatever happened to eating a sensible, well balanced healthy diet and getting sufficient rest and exercise? Is that no longer trendy?

    • 439801RS says:

You’d have to learn actual facts for that and an alarmingly big portion of the internet is allergic to those 😬

    • Collin says:

That would require people actually caring about their HEALTH and not just how they look…makes you wonder where all those “I JuSst CaRE aboUT YOUr heALTh” preachers are…..

    • Kittster27 says:

I suggest you read the creators original post where she explains she used diet and exercise heavily but was still not losing what she thought was “fat”. She was counting macros but still eating processed foods. It wasn’t until she started eating more whole foods, focusing on gentle daily movement and improving her circulation that she started seeing changes in her body.

I will say that she is overstating the benefits of lymphatic drainage but the rest of her messaging is actually very similar to what Abbey claims to follow.

    • camille says:

im saying 😭😭 people keep coming up with the weirdest diets/methods to lose weight i don’t understand why like?? i know every body is different but at the end of the day is all about being on a caloric deficit and a good workout routine🥲

  • wannabetrucker 74 says:

    😂😂😂😂😂 omg. thx for this.

  • Hafsa Hussein says:

    “No bloat, snatched jaw” huh?

  • Rochelle Garcia says:

She’s wrong, promoting lymphatic drainage to detox and get skinny is a bad angle.

    • Kittster27 says:

She’s not promoting it to “get skinny”, she’s literally saying you are probably already skinny and what you think is excess fat could be fluid retention.

  • Nam Moo says:

She’s also very obviously posing in that video, she is moving so awkwardly slow, so she’s trying to have perfect movements and clearly looking at what she sees in the phone, who is going to be doing their job with their body at that angle as well? She’s not leaning comfortably, she’s so obviously posed, it’s hard for me not to notice

  • Amy Fickett says:

I really really really hate it when people use the word “fat” when what they actually mean is “skin on your neck when you look down” or “puffy face when you first wake up in the morning”. Like come on.

  • Adrian Scolieri says:

My day just got brighter thanks to this video.

  • Hope Adler says:

Bro even when I was actively dying at 89 pounds at 6 feet tall I had a slight double chin bc I have a VERY round face being Inuit and small chin and jaw. So I ALWAYS have one. It’s insane. And no it’s not my lymph nodes 😭

  • C B says:

    I think I need Abby’s jeans

  • Anna Witter says:

So many toxic people out there spreading their venom on social media

    • Kittster27 says:

Yep, Abbey is the Queen of toxicity.

    • Anna Witter says:

@Kittster27 when we point the finger of accusation there are three fingers pointing back at you

    • Kittster27 says:

@Anna Witter don’t think you’re so far above everyone that your rules don’t apply to you too.

    • Anna Witter says:

@Kittster27 I am not above any so called rules (who tf makes these rules anyway) but I am going to stand up against cyber bullies who intentionally hurt people. It’s irresponsible and unnecessary

    • Kittster27 says:

@Anna Witter You’re the one who said “when we point the finger of accusation there are three fingers pointing back at you”. That’s the rule I was referring to. You’re also the one who accused the original creator of being toxic and “spreading their venom”. I am telling if you look a bit closer at the content you’re consuming you will realise Abbey is just a toxic, if not more so. She is a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

  • Baba Ganouche says:

Something I found alarming was this idea of “skinny fat”…. you mean people who are thin, but not toned or doing heavy workout/restrictive diets? Wtf people cannot even exist in a healthy body without being judged that they aren’t fit enough. True, you can be thin and have unhealthy organs, but mind your business people. Why are we policing who is “doing enough”?

    • Kittster27 says:

“Skinny fat” refers to people who appear a healthy weight but carry a lot of visceral fat (fat surrounding the organs) which is the type of fat the causes health problems.

    • Baba Ganouche says:

@Kittster27 … exactly my point you can’t tell if someone has visceral fat by looking at the from the outside. The term has been high jacked to mean anyone who isn’t visibly toned.

    • Kittster27 says:

@Baba Ganouche someone who is visibly toned exercises regularly which is one of the key factors in reducing or preventing the build up of visceral fat. It is safe to assume that someone who is sedentary, has an unhealthy diet but is “naturally slim” has a higher chance of having visceral fat.

    • Baba Ganouche says:

@Kittster27 not necessarily. You don’t have to be toned to not have visceral fat. Stop trying to gatekeep people’s health just by their appearance. You cannot tell another person they are “skinny fat” just by looking at them so just stop.

    • Kittster27 says:

@Baba Ganouche You seem a bit slow so let me break this down for you:

For muscle tone to visible, body fat % needs to be within a healthy range. Therefore people who are toned are _less likely_ to have high amounts of visceral fat than someone who is not toned. Do you understand what “less likely” means? It’s not a guarantee. It’s not gatekeeping. It simply means they are at a lower risk and their appearance is merely suggestive of that.

  • Jainen Sydan says:

    A “snatched jaw”? Whaaaaat?! 😅

  • Kittster27 says:

The difference is eating whole foods isn’t a “get skinny quick” diet plan, it’s the way humans are supposed to eat. I find it interesting you didn’t bother to actually show the rest of the original post where creator goes on to explain that she used to diet and count macros but now eats and exercises more intuitively. Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t that your mantra too? Would it kill you to actually represent other creators fairly instead of using them for your sensationalist clickbait?

  • Katie says:

There is no end to the grifts the come up with

  • Magda Wasik says:

It is impossible to eat only natural products these days because they just don’t exist. I am skinny because I suffer from chronic neurological disease,I have an Instagram account but I think is is really small and I’m not an influencer plus I don’t follow any

  • thegreenmanofnorwich says:

“No bad angles”? I dare someone to take a direct up the nostril closeup picture that’s actually attractive.

  • Sarafia Jones says:

I appreciate your realness and honesty on your corner of the internet. There’s by far way too much toxic content out there!
