I saw some fitness influencers promoting this on instagram on a “funny” reel and everyone in the comments agreed. Idk what to think tbh 😭💀
In the Philippines, there is a folk tale that if you go to bed hungry, you could die in your sleep because your soul would go out looking for food and get trapped in the rice pot.
I wonder if someone slept walk to get food and died so they came up with that idk 😂
“Trapped in a rice pot” 😂 love that
Oh nooo lol
She said a LITTLE BIT hungry before bed. She did not say starving all day every day or “ravenously hungry” before bed. You’re going to feel a little hungry in a calorie deficit, and you can not lose weight unless you are in a deficit.
I get that this idea is triggering, but isn’t it a litttlle true? I’m in a weight loss phase right now and doing well with with it – I eat 3 meals a day plus a snack, but I usually try to finish eating by around 6:30 or 7pm and have been trying to diminish late night snacking. I make sure I hit my calorie goal so I’m in a gentle defecit but also not under eating – and still, by bed time I usually do feel a LITTLE hungry, but never to the point it interrupts my sleep.
Yes, indeed normal! And I experienced that my hunger even disappeared after a good night sleep. But Abbey doesn’t get this unfortunately and really details when someone says A little bit hunger. She translate this message complete wrong into extreme hunger and rants about the long term effects.
It’s an insomnia hack for me 😅
Not everyone has an ED.
Not everyone is unhealthy at a higher weight.
Not everyone thin, desires to be skinny.
Not everyone at a socially acceptable weight is healthy, happy or comfortable in their skin
Not Everybody is the point.
You don’t see a person(s) health in an image or a single day.
Average isn’t the goal for most.
People are individual, recommending “anything” could be harmful in the context of a 60 second video.
Can’t build it in a minute, don’t try to crush it in a minute.
Yall i think Abbey is speaking from the perspective of her audience who currently have / have had an ED (which is most of her audience). People with an ed need a lot of reassurance that not everything is about weight loss and ignoring hunger cues doesn’t do any good or make you a better person.
@@vilma9142 I watch, I’ve watched for years. Especially in time of weightloss because I want HCC, I want nutrition dense foods, I desire balance, I don’t want my foods or my weight to have moral value. But I’m not confident at any weight or size, so I exercise body autonomy and try to take control in the safest ways.
Abby, it’s obviously true, when you eat 3 times a day plus snacks you’ll never lose weight except you’re very fat. I’m now 57 kg and if I want to lose some weight I have to eat 2 times a day plus 1 snack and not eating 4 hours before sleep
That’s not true at all. weight loss is determined by calories in and calories expended not how many meals you have
You’re wrong, cause I sleep better if end up with eating 4 hours before bedtime and don’t see nightmares
I bench 400 pounds and i have a 6 pack. Its normal to feel hungry while in a calorie deficit. That’s how you know its working
Im currently on 2000 cal. 200 grams of protein daily for slow weight loss
There is a big difference between going to bed “a little hungry”… versus “going to bed ravenously hungry” 0:27. I think in a deficit, it’s normal to be hungrier at the end of the day (than when you’re at maintain or a surplus).
