66yo, I’ve moved up to 10g / day (muscle and brain). I’m off to Sweden for a week (from Texas) and have just ordered 5g individual travel packets … will be interesting to see if it helps with jet lag. Nice that I won’t have to explain to customs why I have a ziplock bag full of white powder in my backpack (in my experience this never ends well)

    Ok .. 20g .. leading up to flight thanks .. I have a week

Anecdotal evidence/sample size of 1… 58yo male and have had a few instances in the last 3mos where I’ve had to stay awake for more than 24hrs and about hour 22 I realize that I’m not completely a mess mentally. When I was a student (20-28yo), 24 hour wake cycles were very tough but doable. A few times before beginning creatine in my 50’s, I’d attempt them only to fail miserably. Next few days I was in an awful state and others around me wanted nothing more than to not be around. Once starting creatine for physical/muscle reasons, I had these >24 hr wake cycles and I honestly felt fine and no one else knew.
This is in no way a recommendation to miss sleep as it’s a huge portion of your health (read up on brain’s glymphatic system and Alzheimer’s disease). I’m 81kg/180lbs and take 10gr/day and will take 5-10gr more if I’m staying up super late.

I stoped taking creatine and the only difference I notice is having one fewer expense in my life.
